The Soloist. Chapters One- Five (The Main Purpose)

The main purpose of the book The Soloist is to tell the story of homeless man that has nothing, but yet has everything, has a talent and has knowledge that no ordinary homeless man has. The book focus' on Nathaniel Ayers, who has schizophrenia, and is homeless. He was a promising bass student at Juilliard that gradually lost his ability to function. Once Steve Lopez set eyes on him he knew right then that Nathaniel was more than the ordinary.
